BEST Plug

The HEPI Best Plug is a small, easy-to-install component for wheel groups and differentials, offering customers a reliable, safe, and convenient option for checking contamination. For wheel groups, it eliminates the need to drive the truck back and forth during servicing when checking the magnetic plug condition. For differentials, it reduces the need for additional equipment like pumps and hoses, while providing the ability to control the drain rate. The Best Plug makes oil sampling much easier and safer by allowing samples to be taken with the level port positioned anywhere between 30 degrees and 330 degrees, drastically reducing the time spent positioning the truck to ensure the plug is above the oil level.

TheBEST Plug is a small, easy-to-install component designed for wheel groups and differentials. It provides a safe, reliable, and convenient method to check for contamination without needing to reposition plugs above the oil level or move trucks during servicing.

Enhanced Safety:

The BEST Plug helps minimize risks of spills and scalding by using spring-activated valve technology and enabling secure connections with dry-break couplings.

Spill-Free Maintenance:

The plug assembly is self-sealing. When the magnetic plug is removed, a valve automatically closes from the inside, preventing oil loss. At most, only a trace amount of oil—trapped outside the seal—may be released.

Flexible Service Options:

  • Suction Connections: Easily attach suction or drain hoses to the adaptor, using the standard 3/4” NPT thread compatible with common dry-break couplings.

  • Condition Monitoring: Conduct safe, hassle-free magnetic plug checks in the field or workshop.

  • Controlled Draining: Adjust flow rates by screwing the adaptor in different depths—allowing for slow or fast draining.

  • Reduced Downtime: Trucks no longer need to be repositioned, and no vacuum pump is required, saving time during inspections and maintenance.

Oil Sampling Plug (optional):
