TUNGSTEN CARBIDE WEAR PLATE
For applications where standard overlay plate is not effective, H-E Parts can offer a range of tungsten and titanium carbide overlay plates from its CME™ wear products range that provide significant increases in life over conventional overlay plate. While these materials can offer significant cost savings on a cost-per-tonne basis, H-E Parts unique wear modelling approach provides for the use of a range of different wear materials to ensure the lowest total cost of ownership.
The CME™ tungsten carbide overlay plate product is ideal for fine particle abrasion with low impact, and has the potential to outlast conventional overlay plate by more than 20 times in some applications. After completing a full evaluation of the wear area, H-E Parts is able to design a liner arrangement that may contain several different materials and overlay thicknesses. The result can be a liner assembly that wears uniformly throughout and provides a consistent life that corresponds to planned shutdown intervals.
QUENCHED AND TEMPERED WEAR PLATE
CME™ quenched and tempered wear plate is a superior choice in abrasion resistant steels and is synonymous with high quality, flatness and surface finish.
Although CME™ quenched and tempered plate is 3-4 times harder than ordinary high strength structural plate, its excellent weldability and machinability properties make the material remarkably easy to work with.
