The quarry crushing plant\u00a0consisted of a jaw and cone crusher; a configuration that may not\u00a0always produce the desired particle shape.\u00a0After careful analysis of the particle shape requirements and\u00a0plant output tonnage (approx. 60 mtph) being too low for the\u00a0efficient running of a larger machine, H-E Parts recommended\u00a0the Auspactor\u2122 VS75RR vertical shaft impact crusher.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0Auspactor\u2122 vertical shaft impact crushers have lower operating\u00a0costs than competing machines and are renowned for improving\u00a0aggregate particle shape. Being the smallest of the Auspactor\u2122\u00a0range; the Auspactor\u2122 VS75RR suited the customer\u2019s\u00a0requirements perfectly. A VS75RR machine fitted with a variable speed drive (VSD) was\u00a0installed to single pass crush -22 +3.15mm product from the\u00a0cone crusher. The VSD allowed fine tuning of the Auspactor\u2122\u00a0rotor speed to achieve improved particle shape whilst turning\u00a0the weaker particles into sand.
