A customer with a fleet of 789C haul trucks required a replacement<\/em> engine with minimal lead time. Aiming to minimize downtime, the<\/em> customer sought assistance from H-E Parts.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The engine was supplied and installed with the aim of extending the<\/em> customers current engine life of ~16,000 hours to the target of 18,000<\/em> hours. From commissioning through to removal, the engine met all<\/em> customer requirements and ran as expected with no issues. The engine<\/em> was removed at 24,800 hours, improving the engine\u2019s average service<\/em> hour life by 55%.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

H-E Parts engines undergo proprietary balancing, crack testing, and<\/em> engine testing that reduces premature parts failures and improves<\/em> equipment availability and performance. Similarly, our transmissions<\/em> and torque converters are repaired using proprietary setup procedures<\/em> and bearings.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since the initial engine supply, H-E Parts has been contacted to supply<\/em> a further two engine rebuilds along with multiple Mining Solutions<\/em> products, such as H-E Parts enhanced final drives and hoist cylinders<\/em> for the customer\u2019s truck fleet. H-E Parts has the ability to provide a full<\/em> solution for the entire powertrain transmission and specializes in the<\/em> re-manufacture of major mobile equipment components.
