H-E Parts Crushing Solutions division (H-E Parts), celebrated the achievement of four years lost time injury (LTI) free in the month of July. This is a fantastic outcome for the business and the result of a constant focus on safety by all the employees at Crushing Solutions, which increases safety awareness and has been shown to further develop a culture of safety excellence.<\/p>\n
Over the last four years Crushing Solutions has become synonymous with safety excellence, despite significant increases in demand for their specialized onsite maintenance and engineering services conducted at mines and quarries nationally. Aspiring towards the vision of \u2018Think Safety, Think Crushing Solutions\u2019, some of the internal programs launched include; patented LockLift\u2122 and Safe-T Lift\u2122 crusher liner safety lifting devices, Think Safety, Think Crushing Solutions safety training program, and the most recent being team members uniforms displaying safety slogans whilst working on-site, to promote constant safety awareness.<\/p>\n
Mark Hill, Crushing Solutions\u2019 OH&S Manager commented that \u201cwe are backing up all of our strategic objectives with a multi-layered approach of initiatives that target as many sources of influence that we can muster. One of the latest programs that we are currently utilizing is the \u201cwalking billboards\u201d high visibility site shirts being worn by all our service staff. We also have implemented in-depth personal safety shares such as the \u2018Steve Reid\u2019 story, which he has been delivering at our toolbox meetings. This vicarious experience through storytelling is a great way of influencing people to behave safely.
